Beginning early in the morning, this journey highlights two prominent temples of Karnataka: Chennakeshava Temple at Belur and Hoysaleshwara Temple at Halebidu. The tour includes a local lunch at a basic neat and clean restaurant.
- 🕌 Chennakeshava Temple construction began in 1116 AD and lasted 103 years, dedicated to lord Vijayanarayana, commemorating the Hoysala victory over the Cholas.
- ⛪ Hoysaleshwara Temple was built by King Vishnuvardhana between 1120 – 1150 CE, featuring numerous miniature shrines at the entrance.
- 🌬️ The temple walls include Vyatayanas, or Jaali’s, allowing breezes to flow in for a pleasant experience.
- 🍽️ Lunch is provided at a local restaurant (basic neat & clean) during the tour.
