Continue to the Roman Amphitheatre, a 5000-seat, 2nd-century Roman theatre and the most impressive relic of ancient Philadelphia. Perpendicular to the Roman Amphitheatre’s axis is the Odeon; a smaller theatre mainly used for music, poetry readings, and debates, and take a short stroll afterward to the Roman Nymphaeum. Then, make your way to Amman's Citadel, a historical site that towers above the city, comprising a 1700-meter wall dating back to the Bronze Age, the Umayyad Palace, and the iconic Temple of Hercules.
