With this experience I will take you around the Ancient Market of Civitavecchia, which has its origins in the late 1800s.
In the stalls you can find local fruits and vegetables, food products of various kinds and, within the covered structure, meat and fish from our sea. Here we will buy some of the products we will use for the cooking class.
Once you get home, you will learn how to make spaghetti alla chitarra, a fresh homemade pasta totally by hand, with the only help of a rolling pin and guitar.
The course involves the creation of the dough starting from the classic fountain on the wooden surface, with which the spaghetti alla chitarra will be prepared to be made with the appropriate tool, the guitar, and the rolling pin.
You will prepare the Amatriciana sauce, consisting of a tomato sauce with bacon and pecorino cheese.
Finally, you will learn how to make Tiramisù, one of the classic desserts of Italian cuisine based on ladyfingers, coffee and mascarpone.
The cooking class includes an excellent bottle of wine for every 2 people, unlimited water and coffee.
