Here, the spurs of the Greater Caucasus come closest to the Caspian Sea, creating a geographical and climatic divide. This can be felt literally at a few hundred metres. Sometimes, on one side it rains, and on the other side it is sunny and hot. Until today, the mountain is shrouded in mystery, and locals still come here to pray.
