Enjoy a drive into the Nandi Hills, a picturesque region dotted with sloping green hillsides and miles of forestland, inhabited with incredibly beautiful wildlife. In such paradisiacal landscape on the way to Nandi Hills, lies Grover Vineyards famous as a rich wine-producing area which was once known as Tipu Sultan’s and later, the British summer retreat. The vineyard spread over 410 acres and nestled on the foothills of the Nandi Hills at 920 meters above the sea level.

The winery tour starts at 10.30am with a briefing followed by a visit to the crushing unit. After this, the tour continues to filtering, processing, fermentation, storing in tanks, bottling, labeling and packaging of wine bottles after which these are ready for sale. The barrel room is where the different brands of wine age in the imported oak barrels. You will find a lovely ambiance with a tasting set up made out of real oak barrels. Upon completion of the tour proceed to the cellar where Vineyard professionals will serve you 5 different varieties of wine. The tasting session takes around 60 minutes. Here you’ll experience soothing music with varieties of wine amidst oak barrels in the air-condition cellar.
