The St. Gertrude's Cathedral in the Dutch city of Utrecht is the main church of the Old Catholic Church, serving as the seat of the Old Catholic Archbishop. It is located at Willemsplantsoen. The Oudegracht is the most famous canal in Utrecht. Extending for about two kilometers, this canal can be seen as the connecting piece between the Kromme Rijn and the Vecht, cutting through the entire inner city from south to north.

The Regulierencloister was founded between 1248 and 1267, situated between the Oudegracht and the Springweg, by the Zakbroeders. This mendicant order was dissolved during the Second Council of Lyon in 1274, after which the Regular Canons of St. Augustine took over the monastery in 1292.

St. Martin's Cathedral DomkerkThe Dom Tower of Utrecht (Historical St. Martin's Cathedral) is a distinctive Gothic church in the heart of Utrecht. Construction began in 1254 as a continuation of the Romanesque cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Utrecht, dedicated to St. Martin. Since 1580, the church has been Protestant. The Dom Tower, standing at 112.32 meters, is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands and the tallest building in Utrecht.
