On this tour, accompanied by a tour guide, you'll discover Azenhas do Mar, a village on the coast in Portuguese soft style well-known because of its beach and waters. You'll continue along the coastline, between cliffs and beaches, some of them crowded and others still in their wild and natural state, until you reach Ericeira, the 1st World Surfing Reserve in Europe and the 2nd in the world. After exploring Ericeira you'll enjoy some free time to have lunch and stroll through the town on your own. After the lunch break, the tour will continue visiting the typical village Jose Franco, a working village that showcases the traditional culture and handicrafts of the area.
This tour couldn't finish without visiting the Palace and convent of Mafra, an eighteenth-century building considered the most important monument of the Portuguese Baroque, famous for its two carillons with 92 bells, 1200 rooms, over 4,700 doors, and windows and because it has one of the oldest libraries in Portugal with about 36,000 volumes.
