Overview
Comfortable conditions and crystal clear water create an ideal setting for trying diving for the first time. The experience consists of three parts: introduction, confined water session, and open water dive.
- 🏊♂️ Introduction & basic notions of scuba diving provided before any practice.
- 🌊 Confined Water session at sea in shallow water included to ensure safety.
- 🌅 Open Water dive at a maximum depth of -12 meters to complete the experience.
- 📋 No previous diving experience needed; however, participants must meet certain requirements:
- 🩺 Minimum age of 10 years, sufficient swimming skills, and good health are required.
- ✈️ Participants should wait at least 12 hours after the dive before taking a flight.
To ensure safety, individuals with breathing or respiratory issues, blood or heart-related problems, recent surgeries, or those who contracted Covid-19 should consult their physician to confirm fitness for diving; a Doctor's statement is highly recommended in such cases.

You will be introduced to new and funny dimension, THE UNDERWATER WORLD.
To take part in PADI Discover Scuba® Diving with DiveBase, all you need is to have sufficient swimming skills and to be in good health (previous diving experience is not required).
DiveBase Malta instructors are going to organize a 3 hour-long experience in a pleasant and calm environment.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
to correctly use the diving equipment
to equalise the water’s pressure on your ears
to feel at ease underwater
to swim with fins without efforts
to hand signal to communicate underwater
Once achieved all the requirements of this experience, you are going to receive a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Certificate of Achievement. With this certificate you may continue your diving education and become a certified scuba diver. The certificate is valid and recognize worldwide.
Important to be in good health and after the dive is concluded is important to wait at least 12 hours before taking a flight.
