Overview
Skip the crowded 50-passenger tour buses and experience Banff the way it was meant to be seen: comfortably, intimately, and unhurried. Capped strictly at 13 guests, Jumper Tours offers a personalized small-group journey led by an experienced local driver who knows the Canadian Rockies inside and out.
Unlike large bus tours, our nimble vehicle allows us to travel through Banff's prime wildlife corridors and scenic mountain routes, giving you fantastic opportunities to spot elk, bighorn sheep, and deer in their natural habitats. We make generous photo stops at iconic landmarks including Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Lake, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, and the ancient Hoodoos, with plenty of time to step outside, walk around, and take postcard photos without feeling rushed.
With round-trip hotel pickup, chilled bottled water, and complimentary trekking poles on board, we handle the mountain driving and busy parking so you can simply relax and soak in the views.

Mount Norquay LookoutSavor breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the entire Banff townsite, the Bow River Valley, and the iconic, sheer face of Mount Rundle. Step out onto the observation terrace for wide-angle alpine photographs and scan the rocky roadside meadows where bighorn sheep and mule deer frequently graze.
-
Step out at Hillsdale Meadow along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to take in sweeping, unobstructed vistas of the rugged Sawback Range. This tranquil sub-alpine meadow is one of Banff's most active wildlife corridors, offering an ideal opportunity to scan forest clearings for elk, deer, and birds of prey while capturing classic Rockies landscape photos. Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll stop at some of the most iconic and photogenic locations in and around Banff—perfect for capturing unforgettable moments. Exact stops may vary and will be chosen by the driver, based on the day’s conditions and opportunities for the best views and wildlife sightings. Possible highlights include:
-
Lake MinnewankaEnjoy unhurried free time along the shores of Lake Minnewanka, the largest body of water in Banff National Park. Stroll the scenic lakeside promenade, admire the massive limestone peaks rising straight out of the turquoise glacial water, and learn about the fascinating history of the submerged 19th-century resort town of Minnewanka Landing.
-
Hoodoos TrailTake a short, gentle walk along the barrier-free observation deck to view ancient sedimentary rock pillars known as hoodoos, naturally carved over millennia by wind and water. Look straight down over the Bow River winding through the forested canyon below, with the monumental ridgeline of Mount Rundle towering across the valley.
-
Surprise CornerStep onto the observation platform at Surprise Corner for Banff’s most famous postcard vista. Take photos of the legendary "Castle in the Rockies"—the historic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel—nestled in the dense evergreen canopy above the rushing Bow River, framed by the peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle.
-
Bow FallsEnjoy an easy stroll alongside the roaring cascades of Bow Falls. Feel the cool alpine mist from the falls, watch where the glacier-fed Bow and Spray Rivers converge, and capture close-up photos of the churning whitewater as it cuts through the rocky canyon just minutes from downtown Banff.
