Rainbow MountainThe tour starts with hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. The group travels by minivan to Cusipata, where a buffet breakfast is served. Then, continue to the community of Phulawasipata to begin the hike to Mountain 7 Colores (Vinicunca). The hike lasts between 1 and 2 hours and takes place at more than 5,000 meters altitude; those who need it can hire a horse (not included). Upon arriving in Vinicunca, tourists have free time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery, while the guide explains about local Andean beliefs. The return is made by the same route, with horse option if necessary. After arriving back to Cusipata, you will enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to Cusco. The tour ends around 5:30 p.m. at the visitor's hotel or in a central square.
