Sultan Qaboos MosqueSultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah was opened in Dhofar Governorate, Sultanate of Oman, on July 10, 2009. The total area of the mosque is 40,419 square meters, surrounded by a wall and four gates. The dome of the mosque is 23 meters high from the floor level and has two minarets with a height of 56 meters. The mosque is covered from the inside with marble up to a height of approximately two meters, decorated with decorative plaster from above. The column heads at the ceiling are inlaid with marble, in addition to installing marble for the entire mihrab inlaid with decorative pieces in a beautiful mold.
