Overview

Escape busy Seoul and stroll through a thousand-year-old temple embraced by Korea’s natural beauty.

Seoraksan is Korea’s most scenic national park, famous for its mountains, valleys, and stunning four-season beauty

You can experience the essence of Gangwon Province in one trip: the majestic Seoraksan Mountain, the DMZ observatories, and museums where you can learn about the Korean War

Two days are enough to explore Sokcho. The inner coastal area is easily covered on foot or by bicycle, while the outer courses—Seoraksan and the DMZ—can be explored through my tour, allowing you to see the entire Sokcho and Goseong region

In Yangyang and Gangneung area, pick-up and drop-off are only available for groups of 2 or more.

Seoraksan National Park is a self-guided tour. You’ll have about 3–4 hours to explore freely and enjoy a meal. You can choose the course that suits you best: the cable car route to Gwongeumseong Fortress, the easy trail to Biseondae and Biryong Falls, or the intermediate course to Towangseong Falls and Ulsanbawi Rock.
  • DMZ Museum
A place to learn about the Korean War, the most significant event that shaped modern Korea. At the DMZ Museum, you can not only learn about the course of the war, but also gain a deeper understanding of inter-Korean relations after the war and the post-war recovery process.
  • Goseong Unification Observatory
The biggest event that shaped modern Korea was the Korean War. It was one of the largest wars representing the Cold War structure of the 20th century. After the war, Korea rose from being one of the poorest countries to becoming a cultural and IT powerhouse. Your guide will help you understand this journey in an easy and accessible way.
