Return details
We fly one student per flight with an USHPA certified Tandem Hang Gliding Instructor. Students will fly in the order that they check in according to their appointment. We will usually fly 3-6 students per hour depending on conditions and how many people are signed up.
During your Tandem Hang Gliding Experience, you will fly tandem in a trapeze harness (lying on your belly), and the instructor will fly in the bottom harness. We pull the hang glider on wheels (landing gear) behind a slow flying aircraft up to 2000' feet. Once at 2000' feet your instructor will release the tow cable from the aircraft, and you and your instructor will glide freely back to the ground where you'll land where you took off on wheels. Enjoy the views, feel the wind, and you'll also get a chance to feel the controls of the hang glider. This is the closest thing to knowing what it feels like to fly like a bird!
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
