Your Verde River trip begins with a simple check in at our Cottonwood launch hub, where the Clarkdale Kayak Company team will help get you ready for the water. We’ll match you with the right kayak, provide your paddle and life vest, and walk you through what to expect before heading out.
Once everyone is geared up, our shuttle takes you to the river so you can skip the heavy lifting and enjoy an easy start to the day. From there, you’ll float and paddle through a scenic 3.1 mile stretch of the Verde River, surrounded by desert views, cool water, and a few gentle mini rapids to keep things fun.

When your paddle is complete, you’ll return right back to where you checked in, making it easy to keep exploring Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, and the Verde Valley.
