Yala National ParkWe will start the Safari from the car park of the Palatupana Entrance of the Park or Hotel (Free hotel pick up can be arranged if in the Yala vicinity) Once we go through the standard process of entry into the park, we will start exploring the second biggest national park in Sri Lanka which is home to the Largest Leopard population in Sri Lanka Your experienced driver also acting as a tracking guide will listen carefully to the distress calls of the monkeys, deer and birds will understand the behavior and the movement of the leopards on that day. Therefore, he will drive in the routes that will give you the best chance of seeing the big cats Be sure to keep an eye out for the exclusive Sri Lankan Sloth Bear and Elephants amongst other species. Yala is also a true haven for seasonal migratory & resident birds
