The first one Dazaifu is a very popular place among travelers from domestic and abroad.
Dazaifu Tenmangu is dedicated to the spirit of Sugawara Michizane, a scholar and politician of the Heian Period. Because of his great learning, Michizane has been associated with Tenjin, a Shinto deity of education, and is famous among students.
The second town Yanagawa is a little city where a very unique water supply system for flood control, That's why this city has another name "Venice in Japan". Leave it to the road of water of the moat, please enjoy a boat trip with the Funauta boatman song sung by a boatman, seeing a beautiful scenery of each season.
