You will get to use skin based skis designed to excel in snowy conditions and this tour is suitable for beginners as well so no prior skiing experience is needed. With skis we will be able to access the untouched snow to experience the beautiful arctic nature. During the tour you will get to enjoy complimentary hot beverages and a tasty meal made from local ingredients by campfire.
On this private wilderness skiing tour you will learn wilderness skiing in relatively easy snowy terrain in the Pyhätunturi Area. We use OAC skin based skis which are made in Finland and designed for wilderness skiing. The skis are short and wide by design and have integrated skins in the base making them a go-to choice in variable winter terrain. The adjustable bindings fit to most winter or hiking boots so you can wear you on winter footwear.
Earlier experience is not needed as your guide will teach you the correct technique for skiing.
The activity is organised in Pyhätunturi area which has amazing terrain for various winter acitivities.
