Overview
To start the tour, you will be picked up at your hotel to go to the mausoleum of a legendary Sufi saint, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah. Every week, thousands of pilgrims visit the site to pay homage to the saint. Around the complex, there are also the tombs of the Mughal princess Jehan Ara Begum, Emperor Shah Jahan’s daughter, and Hazrat Amir Khusro, who is one of the greatest poets in Persian and Urdu. Built in the 14th century, this dargah stands out with its intricate jaalis (lattice screens) with its square shape and marble arches as its courtyard. Finally, you will have dinner at a local restaurant and will be dropped off back at your hotel.
