You begin at Thang long Imperial Citadel, which was built in 11th century in marking of Vietnam Independence. It was built on the remain of a Chiness fortress dating from 7th century, on drained land reclaimed from the Red River Delta in Hanoi. The Citadel witnessed a serries of dramatic changes thoughout the Vietnam history and braced itself through a number of destructive wars. The most nobtable part of Thang Long Citadel is Centre Sector, which was listed as one of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites in 2010.

Old QuarterDrive back to Hanoi Centre for short walking tour through the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake to enjoy the bustling local life. You will go through the local market, the maze of facinating backstreet with many narrow, long houses, considered as “tube house”. Finish the half day Hanoi History tour with a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee or some glass of local draught beers before drop off at hotel around PM12.00. Note: Optional departure time: 8.00 AM, 8.30 AM, 9.00AM, 1.00PM, 1.30PM and 2.00PM. The tour is not open on Monday and Friday due to Museum closed.
