Hanzo-mon GateThe running tour will start from Hanzomon, one of the entrances to the Imperial Palace. You can see the National Theatre and the Diet Building as you descend Miyake-zaka, said to be the most beautiful slope in Tokyo. (No tours will be provided. We will view a part of the outside)

Kokyo Otemon GateFrom here you will enter the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Before entering the garden, there is a baggage inspection. This Ote-mon Gate was the main gate of Edo Castle. Once inside, you will be greeted by a "Shachihoko" as it was in the Edo period. Here you can take a restroom break and visit souvenir shops related to the Imperial Household.
