Guided by skilled dyers and a bilingual host, you’ll learn the meaning of aizome and explore authentic tools and indigo vats before creating your own textile. What You’ll Experience
- Studio Tour (15 min): Introduction to indigo’s history and symbolism
- Dyeing Workshop (60 min): Choose one item (handkerchief or tenugui included; upgrades available), then fold, bind, and dye with natural indigo
