Overview
We’ll take a kayak and exploration adventure to beautiful Comino – exploring caves, crystal waters, gorgeous bays and beaches or stunning rock formations (weather dependent)!
This experience is a full-day tour (10:30am - 4:30pm) from Gozo to Comino. Beginners and experienced kayakers are welcome. It is just a bit more than half kayaking and the rest is relaxing, swimming, exploring on land! You'll visit the Blue Lagoon side and the Santa Maria side of Comino. Both have amazing caves, bays and rock formations. Please understand that all tours are weather-dependent and not all areas/routes may be accessible.
If needed, the guide will teach you the basics and make sure you feel comfortable! Please tell us your kayak experience when booking, so we can group you better with others.
This is an active adventure, so a moderate level of fitness and basic swimming ability is required.
A yummy homemade lunch is included!

Hondoq BayThis is our usual starting point for the Comino tour. Please note that it may change due to weather or other factors. Please read your messages before the tour and contact us if in doubt. Here, we will set you up with the equipment and make sure you are comfortable in your kayak. You'll meet your guide and do a safety briefing. Then we set you on your way!
- We generally start with a short paddle along the Gozo coastline to get comfortable in our kayaks before our journey takes us across the Gozo Channel Comino! The crossing usually takes about 20min and is approx. 800m at the narrowest point. This is where the adventure really gets started! (pass by)

Blue LagoonWe try to see as much as we can of Comino based on the weather conditions and busyness on the water! But it won't be possible to see everything every trip! We do make every effort to stop in or nearby the beautiful Blue Lagoon for a break. In this time you can swim, explore the chrystal blue sea or just relax if you would like. If we cannot land in or nearby we will be sure to kayak into the first part of the Blue Lagoon so you can enjoy it from the water! On our way we pass by and explore a number of gorgeous caves and bays. It's awesome!
- Cominotto is not easily accessible to regular tourists, but kayaks can make use of the perfect entrance through the secret tunnel through the island to the Blue Lagoon! An unforgettable experience in itself! (pass by)
- When the weather allows we can kayak around the back of Cominotto and head to explore the stunning clear waters, hidden tunnels and awe-inspiring open-top caves in the Crystal lagoon. We can see where films like Troy (Brad Pitt), Swept Away (Madonna) and the Count of Monte Cristo were filmed! (pass by)

San Niklaw BayHidden around the corner from San Niklaw Bay is our favourite swimming spot. It is a hidden gorge only easily accessible by water. We lovingly refer to it as Urchin's Bay and it contains a wealth of marine life!
- Ħalfa Rock, also known as Oath Rock or Qala Rock is a stunning stand alone island just off the coast of Gozo. Your guide will tell you all about the pirate lord and show the 700 year old hermit hut and St Anthony's Battery! (pass by)

Santa Marija BayWe also visit the Santa Marija Bay area. It is great for swimming and relaxing. If time allows, we sometimes take a short walk exploring some epic lookout points and can even crawl into the Smuggler's Cave from the land entrance! Please understand that all our tours are weather-dependent and not all areas may be accessible. Also, the Comino tours are not always possible due to winds or other factors. The tours are subject to a location change. If so, we will notify you before the tour, so always check your messages and contact us if you are in doubt.
