Please come to Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti B1F, across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit. Our staff will lead you to the Kyoto Station Shinkansen platform.

The tour concludes upon arrival at Kyoto Station around 9:00 PM. No drop-off service to hotels will be provided. Please head to your next destination on your own from Kyoto Station.

  • After meeting at Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti B1F, our staff will guide you to Kyoto Station on foot. From there, you will enjoy a comfortable ride on the Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima Station with reserved seating in either a Standard Car or the premium Green Car. Please note that this train journey is unguided. Upon arrival at Hiroshima Station, your local tour guide will greet you on the platform and escort you to the tour bus boarding point, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your Hiroshima adventure.
  • Itsukushima Shrine
    Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.
  • Miyajima
    Time for lunch is allotted on Miyajima. This region is known for oysters, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and conger eel rice bowl, which are available at many shops on Miyajima. Customers are free to enjoy their preferred meals. Lunch is not included in the tour.
  • Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park
    This large-scale park was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended, and is visited by countless visitors as a symbol of peace.
  • Atomic Bomb Dome
    The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.
  • Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
    This large-scale park was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended, and is visited by countless visitors as a symbol of peace. The museum within the park is an Important Cultural Property of Japan, and was built to remind future generations of the terror wrought by atomic bombs.
  • Hiroshima Station
    Travel comfortably by bullet train "Shinkansen" from Hiroshima Station to Kyoto Station with reserved seating in either a standard car or the premium Green Car. Please note that this segment of the journey is unguided. The tour ends upon arrival at Kyoto Station.

  • In general, JR West Miyajima Ferry will be used on the round trip between Miyajimaguchi and Miyajima, but if it is not operating, Miyajima Matsudai Kisen will be used
  • The JR West Miyajima Ferry route from Miyajimaguchi to Miyajima will be the Otorii ferry route, which gets closest to the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine. Depending on circumstances such as weather and high tide, please note that the Otorii ferry route may not be possible
  • The National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter will wait for you at Hiroshima Station and guide you during sightseeing at Hiroshima and Miyajima
  • When heading to Hiroshima, an assistant will lead you from the meet-up at Sunrise Tours Desk until boarding the Shinkansen at Kyoto Station. There is no accompanying assistant while on board the Shinkansen
  • Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus and Shinkansen seats. If bus and Shinkansen seats are required, please make a booking under the child rate
  • Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
