Sanjusangendo TempleWe will walk through Sanjusangendo Temple, which is known for its impressive hall containing 1,001 statues of Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy.

Fushimi Inari-taisha ShrineFushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto’s most iconic shrines, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. We will take about 30 minutes at the shrine to walk through.
- Toji Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Japan’s tallest wooden pagoda. We will not enter Toji temple, but have some time for photos. (pass by)
- We will cycle through Umekoji Park where it’s a social hub in Kyoto. (pass by)
