Nishiki Market Shopping DistrictNishiki Market is the traditional food market located in the downtown area in Kyoto. We will stop by 2-3 family owned shops to try sample-size food that represents the food culture and history in Kyoto.

KyotoWe will visit 2-3 restaurants to try Kyoto style food ranging from Obanzai (Kyoto style cuisine) to local izakaya dishes.

Pontocho DistrictWe will walk through the Pontocho District which is a mini geisha district where we will learn the history of Kyoto and the geisha culture.
