At the Kyoto Sumo Club (a sister venue to the popular Asakusa Sumo Club), we’ll take you on a deep dive into the rich history of sumo and how it has evolved over the millennia — all while you savor an authentic sumo-style meal with All-You-Can-Eat & All-You-Can-Drink service.
Begin with a traditional Japanese dance performed by a geisha in an elegant kimono, setting the tone for the sumo show.
Watch live demonstrations of morning exercises, learn classic sumo techniques, and discover the essential do’s and don’ts of sumo wrestling. Then, enjoy a best-of-three match between retired professional sumo wrestlers.
