Lake District morning tour
Overview
During this morning tour of the Lake District, you will travel aboard a Executive 16-Seater Minibus with a professional guide who will give you commentaries and share stories of the region as you enjoy the fantastic views. The tour will start by driving along the famous Kirkstone Pass, the highest mountain road in the Lakes, before continuing down towards Ullswater. Here, you will have the chance to stretch your legs at the Castlerigg stone circle, as you admire this historical treasure dating back over 4,000 years and take in the panoramic views of the fells. On the way back, your driver will take you via the lesser known St John’s in the Vale, and travel south along the vast Thirlmere. You will have the chance to wander around the historic village of Grasmere before traveling back to Windermere where the tour will come to a close.
