HjalparfossFirst astonishing pictures on our road will be painted by the beautiful Hjálparfoss. The two stepped waterfall is located nearby our next attraction and surrounded by very unique and impressive basalt rock formation.

HaifossNever enough of watching endless cascades of running water? Then it's time for the third largest waterfall in Iceland called Haifoss. From the viewing spot nearby we’ll also have the chance to spot it together with Granni Waterfall and capture both waterfalls in a single frame.

More waterfalls? Here you are! Let's also catch a glimpse of Sigöldufoss, located in the canyon often called Valley of Tears.

The Highlands’ secret gorge is a real treat for photographers who marvel at the striking turquoise color of the water and the contrasting landscapes on both sides of the canyon surrounding the lake. Reaching the mountains we’ll also pass by two volcanic craters, Bláhylur, Ljótipollur, filled with gorgeous blue water.

LandmannalaugarLast but not least, time for our ultimate destination, the magnificent Landmannalaugar. Apart from epic hikes along the trails surrounded by rainbow-colored mountains, Landmannalaugar offer a geothermal oasis with hot springs. To jump into and recharge batteries before the ride back... sounds like a perfect plan!
- Time to get back to Reykjavik, admiring the view of post-volcanic terrains contrasting with the rich colors of the hills from our vehicle windows. Drive back is approx. 3,5h - breaks are foreseen. (pass by)
