Pointe-a-PitreFrom the cruise terminal, you will first head for the old town of Pointe-à-Pitre. As you stroll through the streets of this quiet port city, you’ll immerse yourself in the island’s oldest spice market and have free minutes to visit them at your leisure. It’s the perfect place to discover and buy local spices, and explore stalls brimming with tropical fruits, local crafts and rums flavoured with exotic spices. It’s a great opportunity to take home authentic souvenirs and sample the richness of Guadeloupe’s produce. Your guide will introduce you to some of the local flavours on this walking tour.

Distillerie LongueteauTake a step back in time and get a glimpse of how Guadeloupe was 300 years ago. Visit to a functional historical plantation at Longueteau Estate where your guide will be given a tour. Discover what goes into the french island’s rum distilling process, followed by the opportunity to taste authentic rums and liqueurs. While here, you will be able to purchase your favorite flavors at excellent prices (not included).

Cascade aux EcrevissesYou will have to do a very easy and short hike to arrive at the waterfall, once there you will be charmed not only by the tropical forest but also by the clear waters of the waterfall. There is a pond where you can take a dip if you would like. This stop will last approximately 45 minutes.
