    The Stadthuys (an old Dutch spelling, meaning city hall) is a historical structure situated in the heart of Malacca City, the administrative capital of the state of Malacca, Malaysia in a place known as the Red Square. The Stadhuys is known for its red exterior and nearby red clocktower.
  • Melaka Clock Tower
    The Red Clock Tower, otherwise known as Tan Beng Swee Clock Tower, is a 134-year-old clock tower located in Dutch Square. It is one of the most popular spots for tourists in Melaka.
  • Queen Victoria's Fountain
    The Queen Victoria Fountain was built in 1901 by the British and is still standing as elegant as ever until this very day. Although more than a hundred years old, this fountain is still functioning well and is probably the only functioning colonial water fountains in Malaysia.
  • St. Francis Xavier Church
    The church was built in 1849 on the site of an old Portuguese church by a French priest, Father Farvé. The finishing touches of the building were completed in 1856 by Father Allard, with the present-day presbytery built in 1874
  • St. Paul's Hill & Church (Bukit St. Paul)
    A historic church building that was originally built in 1521 and dedicated to Virgin Mary, making it the oldest of its kind in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
  • A Famosa Fort
    A Famosa, which means 'The Famous' in Portuguese, is one of the oldest surviving European architecture in Asia. The only remnant that history has spared of this once mighty fortress is the tiny gate called the Porta de Santiago.
  • Cheng Hoon Teng Temple
    Cheng Hoon Teng is a premier historical monument that has survived the ravages of time. It remains the finest of Chinese temples in Malaysia – a fact underscored by an UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration. The temple ranks among the most significant in Southeast Asia, being central to the spiritual aspirations of the Chinese community in historic Malacca.
  • Kampung Kling Mosque
    The most distinctive feature being the minaret which is styled like a Chinese pagoda. The main prayer hall at Kampung Kling Mosque is topped by a triple tiered pyramidal roof supported by four main columns reminiscent of Balinese and Sumatran style temple roofs
  • Sri Pogyatha Vinoyagar Moorthi Temple
    Sri Poyatha Moorthi Temple is the oldest existing/intact Hindu temple in Malaysia and one of the oldest functioning Hindu temples in Maritime Southeast Asia.[1] Located in the state of Malacca, the temple is one of the few existing Chitty temples in Malaysia
  • Jonker Street
    Jonker Street, also popular as the Jonker Walk, is the main street of Chinatown, Melaka. It is popular for the shops selling clothes, antiques and souvenirs, apart from being a major street food hub. The highlight of Jonker Street is the night market held here every Saturday and Sunday.
  • Malacca River
    The Malacca River (Malay: Sungai Melaka) is a river in Malaysia which flows through the middle of the state of Malacca. It was a vital trade route during the heyday of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century.
  • One of those places where every day you find something new and interesting. It can be another little coffee place or restaurant, perhaps a temple or boutique. Everything is within walking distance. This is one of those places where the stress just rolls off. Lovely architecture, gorgeous lighting and brilliant weekend night market make this area so special. The people are friendly (pass by)
