Milford SoundLanding in Milford Sound to explore the shores on three short walks with a chance to grab a coffee or some lunch too. The Foreshore walk - An easy flat stroll on the boardwalks, through beech forest and alongside the majestic Milford Sound. You can find some of the best views of Mitre Peak along this route. The Lookout track - A quick uphill climb to a platform with an awesome perspective of Milford Sound framed by native bush. Milford's best-kept secret Lady Bowen Falls - Beginning from the main cruise terminal, a boat transports walkers to disembark and join the track among the lush forest, winding its way up to a spectacular viewpoint of the 162m Lady Bowen Falls. (closed JUNE - AUGUST) You should even have time after to relax in the Milford cafe before your return flight departs back to Queenstown.
