Odawara Station is the drop off point for below option: End at Odawara. Odawara Station is good for travelers who want to use bullet trains, or go to other prefectures. Customers can also end the tour at Hakone-en. Please let us know in the special request form when booking.
Disembark at Tokyo Station Area, Tour Ends. Please head to your next destination on your own from Tokyo Station. The National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will inform customers how to return afterwards.

  • Our bus tour takes you to at the base of Mt. Fuji. In the event that the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, the tour will divert to either Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park or the Fujisan World Heritage Center. (pass by)
  • Mt. Fuji 5th Station
    The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line or the highest point accessible. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. *Depending on road conditions, the tour will be guided to Mt. Fuji 4th Station or 5th Station. *If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, the tour will visit Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park or Fujisan World Heritage Center.
  • [Only for with Lunch option] Enjoy a Japanese-style meal with tea/coffee. Aside from a Japanese-style meal, available menus include a Vegetarian meal, Muslim-friendly meal, and Indian thali meal. Please make a request when booking. During the lunch break, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Enjoy a spectacular performance featuring powerful tones and rhythms rich in emotion. [For No Lunch option] Meals are not included. Please prepare lunch in advance on your own.
  • Lake Ashinoko
    Hop on board the Sorakaze, a cruise ship on Lake Ashi in Hakone. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji aboard a ship where passengers can feel as if they're in a green park floating over Lake Ashi.
  • Hakone Komagatake Ropeway
    Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the Komagatake mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi in the Hakone National Park spreading out below. [Duration Estimate] One-way ropeway ride to summit 7 min – stroll around summit – one-way ropeway ride to base 7 min (total 50 min) [From January 14 to March 4, 2025] Komagatake Ropeway closes for maintenance. During this period, tours will visit an alternative site
  • Disembarking only. The bus may not stop by if no customers have booked with Odawara drop-off option in advance.
  • The tour concludes between 6pm and 9pm upon arrival at Tokyo Station. After arrival, please make your own way to your next destination from Tokyo Station.

  • The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.
  • Depending on road conditions, the tour will be guided to Mt. Fuji 4th Station or 5th Station. If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, the tour will visit Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park or Fujisan World Heritage Center. [Important Notes: Mt. Fuji Visitable Location & Timing Estimate] The best time to visit to reach the 5th Station is typically from late April to around November, but in winter (December to early April), it cannot be reached on most days due to reasons such as snowfall and road surface freezing.
  • Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
  • If the Lake Ashi cruise or Komagatake Ropeway cannot be boarded (when not visitable due to suspension of operation, road congestion, or conditions at other sightseeing areas), the tour will be guided to one of the following alternative destinations. (The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.) Appare Sightseeing Boat on Lake Kawaguchi, Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Hakone Pirate Ship, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Jukkokutoge Panoramic Cable Car, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Fujiyama Museum, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Ninja Bus, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, Hakone Checkpoint, Odawara Castle, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Higashiguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine, Oshino Hakkai, Hakone Shrine, Hakone Sekisho Tabimonogatarikan (Shop), etc.
  • Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed.
  • Customers who are late for the departure time will have their reservations canceled. Please give yourself plenty of time.
  • Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch. If bus seats or lunch is required, please make a booking under the child rate.

  • Vegetarian meals: Japanese style vegetarian dishes.

  • During the lunch break, there will be a Wadaiko "Japanese drum" performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Please note that the tour may not be able to view the performance in case arrival is considerably delayed due to road conditions, or the tour is unable to reach the intended meal venue. Furthermore, depending on the circumstances of the facility, the performance may be canceled without prior notice. It has been attracting attention both domestically and internationally as a support for social independence training and artistic activities. By sending customers, Sunrise Tours can create performance opportunities and support their activities.
  • Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be other than a large bus (mid-size bus, small bus, hired car, etc.).
  • As there are locations to be visited on this tour such as Mt. Fuji 5th Station, etc. with lower temperatures compared to Tokyo, bringing warm clothing is recommended. (Reference: Even in the daytime, temperatures may drop to 14℃ in summer and -5℃ in winter.)
  • On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2025 onwards TBD), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. The tour will proceed on this day as well. Please note that there will be changes to the itinerary order and sightseeing locations, and the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise may be changed to alternative itineraries. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.
  • Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.
  • As this tour departs from the Tokyo Station area, it is recommended for those staying in eastern areas of central Tokyo such as Marunouchi, Ginza, Nihonbashi, Otemachi, etc. There is also a course departing from Shinjuku, so please book the tour departing from your preferred location. *Some conditions differ between tours departing from Tokyo Station area and tours departing from Shinjuku. Please check the booking screen for details.
