What is Nerikiri?
Nerikiri are Japanese confections which is served at a tea ceremony. They are primarily made of sweet white beans and are shaped beautifully. The whole session is very peaceful and therapeutic.
Class:
1. I will first explain how to make Nerikiri dough.
2. You will make 5 designs of Nerikiri learning how to shape them with different techniques using various Nerikiri tools.
3. You will make matcha tea.
4. Enjoy your matcha tea and Nerikiri.
Please note:
・The Nerikiri dough will be prepared by the instructor before the class. But I will send you 2 versions of recipes for Nerikiri dough via email after the class. Please provide your email address who wish to have one.
・You can take the rest of the Nerikiri home. The container will be provided.
・Participants must be older than 10.
・Only people who are participating in the class may attend due to limited space. No spectators, please.
