Beautiful mountains of white rocks, green and fertile land where excellent vegetables and fruits are grown. It is said that it was in these directions when in 1870 a gambusino named Ambrosio Castillo found a gold nugget and with it, an entire vein. Immediately, thousands of adventurers arrived at the place and thus the Real del Castillo was born, which with the gold rush would become the capital of the then territory of Baja California.
