Chishingtan Scenic AreaChishingtan Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Taiwan. Picture your ideal beach setting and Chishingtan would probably be it. The beautiful blue sky meets an endless Pacific expanse. The shore is bespeckled with white and black gravel that is smooth to the touch. A canopy of clouds seems to crown the mountains that embrace the coastline. This is the kind of beach that might be listed as one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Though largely a secret to the outside world, Chishingtan's scenery is famous among the Taiwanese.

Taroko National ParkTaroko National Park is one of favorite tourist destination in Taiwan. With its marble-walled canyons, lush vegetation and mountainous landscape, Taroko is well-known for its scenery. The park covers 900 sq. km, rising from sea level in the east, ascending to over 3700m further in the west. Taroko is 90% mountainous, with 27 peaks over 3000m. Almost all the bio-geographical zones in Taiwan are represented here, providing a sanctuary for half of the island's plant and animal species. The blue-green Liwu River cuts through the center, forging deep slitted valleys and ravines before emptying into the sea. In one stretch it forms Taroko Gorge, an 18km marble-walled canyon that many consider one of Asia’s scenic wonders.

Sakul trail is the most accessible trail in the suburbs of Hualien City. It is built using gravel and natural soil trails to respect the natural ecological construction method. The slope is gentle and easy to walk. There are shade trees along the way. It is quite pleasant to listen to the chirping of insects and birds and feel the smell of the forest while walking. The trail is designed in a circular shape. No matter which side you start walking on, you can easily reach the viewing platform at the midpoint of the trail and enjoy a close-up view of the approximately 18-meter-high Sagur Falls. The stream under the waterfall is crystal clear, and the high-energy negative ions can wash away the hustle and bustle of the city.

General HallThe Jiang Jun Fu (General’s House) dormitory cluster features both single and semi-detached layouts, cement single-slope drainage ditches, and brick chimneys, offering rich cultural and historical value. After its renovation, the county government plans to transform the Jiang Jun Fu 1936 Park and the nearby Pine Garden into an arts and cultural community. This project, alongside the "Rails and Bicycles Path," aims for sustainable and low-carbon tourism, promoting this comprehensive cultural hub that combines educational resources, outdoor performances, and dining. Inspired by the concept of "Hualien’s Living Room," the park boasts a beautiful Japanese-style garden and water features, providing a picturesque and exotic ambiance by day and a tranquil, romantic atmosphere by night.
- Your personal driver guide will escort you back to your hotel / b&b or train station in Hualien City at the end of the tour. (pass by)
