Your experience begins early in the morning as you meet your local fishing crew and head out onto the calm waters of Banderas Bay. After a brief introduction, you’ll board a small fishing boat and learn about local conditions, tides, and seasonal marine life from fishermen who know these waters firsthand.

During the trip, you will remain within the bay and actively take part in the fishing yourself. Under the guidance of the crew, you’ll use standard fishing gear and techniques while learning where and how local fishermen fish on a daily basis. Depending on the season and conditions, you may catch species such as dorado, huachinango (red snapper), sierra, and other fish commonly found in these coastal waters. No previous fishing experience is required, as the crew will assist you throughout the activity.

After returning from the water, the experience continues on land at own beachfront restaurant on Isla Maloya Beach. Any fish caught during the trip will be prepared for you using local recipes and cooking techniques, allowing you to enjoy a fresh, authentic meal inspired by coastal traditions. This experience combines hands-on fishing, local knowledge and regional cuisine.
