There you will have the chance to learn about the process of harvesting and producing the’’ liquid gold ‘’: olive oil! You will be informed about its beneficial properties and taste its excellent flavor.

KrasiArrive at the charming village of Krasi for a relaxing break at a traditional kafeneio. Enjoy Greek coffee or refreshments and take a short walk to admire the monumental ancient plane tree, one of the oldest and largest on the island.

Dikteon CaveFor guests who wish, an optional visit to Zeus Cave is available. According to mythology, this is the birthplace of Zeus, king of the Olympian gods. (Walking involved – visit depends on physical ability, time & site availability)

Here, we will stop for lunch, if you wish, at a traditional tavern overlooking the Lassithi Plateau, where you can enjoy authentic local flavors, cooked in a wood-fired oven.

The tour begins with a visit to the Knossos Palace, the ceremonial and political center of the Minoan civilization during the Bronze Age.
