Casa Cisterna SotterraneaYou will visit a typically furnished cave-house museum, a unique chance to see with your own eyes the unhealthy conditions in which local people lived in the cave dwellings of the Sassi until not so long ago. This is the key to understand the most controversial part of the history of Matera, when the city was called the national shame.
