Old Kilbeggan DistilleryWithout doubt one of the most special distillery experiences in Ireland. A time capsule! A visit to the original distillery is a most memorable experience, and then you will be treated to a walk through the micro-distillery which is only operational since 2007, but feels like it has been operational for much longer! On arrival , you will enjoy a flavoursome Kilbeggan Cocktail and at the end of the tour, you will also enjoy a tasting of 4 whiskeys from the Kilbeggan portfolio , which include; The Tyrconnell (a must for single malt fans) and you will also try our most famous expression of peated Irish - Connemara! Time for shopping is included, before we depart for Athlone.

Sean's BarAfter having had some free time for lunch / exploring Athlone, we regroup at Sean's Bar - the oldest pub in Ireland, in Europe, and maybe the world! Your Host will escort you on a visit to this famous pub, pointing out all that you should see, including the letter from the Guinness Book of Records confirming Sean's as the oldest pub. Sean's opened in 900 AD, by who ? Why? All will be explained over a nice creamy pint , or why not try some of Sean's Blended or Single Malt Whiskey!

Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery ExperienceThis is most definitely one of the superior distillery tours in the country. They have thought of everything on this visit to the home of the number 2 Irish whiskey globally! The experience starts with an Irish Coffee demo and sampling, followed by a guided tour through the state-of-the-art whiskey distillery. The visit to one of the Tullamore warehouses is just incredibly special, you'll enjoy some cask strength single pot still Tullamore whiskey straight from the cask, followed by a tutored tasting of three Tullamore whiskeys. Time for shopping before return transfer to Dublin.
