- Meet at your District I hotel or a central meeting point in Ho Chi Minh City, and travel by air-conditioned minibus to My Tho, a port on the Mekong Delta. Here, explore the Delta by motorized boat with a guide to explain the sights. Pass riverfront villages and farms en route to Unicorn Island, home to a fishing port of stilted houses. Stop to sample fruit and handmade treats, and sail to Turtle Island, known for its fruit orchards. Here, board a hand-rowed boat to cruise the canals and savor the scenery and silence.
