Located near the village of Vík, it is a popular destination for its unique volcanic landscapes, wildlife like puffins, and as a filming location. Visitors should be extremely cautious of the unpredictable and dangerous "sneaker waves" and are advised not to swim or climb on the slippery rocks near the sea.
