Zhaojialou Ancient TownUpon arrival, your local friendly driver will greet you at the airport with your name sign, enjoy the comfortable ride in the air-conditioned vehicle to Zhaojialou Water Town, with about 800 years history. The town is regarded as the “Cradle of Shanghai’s agricultural” and “Little Oriental Venice”. Meet your guide and spend some quality time to explore around the old alley streets full of local flavors and see the intact Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture along the ancient canal while learning the interesting local culture, history and custom. Sample some of the local authentic street snacks such as famed Shanghai soup dumpling, Shaomai, Pancake, steam bun etc. If you like.
