LussA 90 minute drive will take us to the 'foot steps' of the Highlands and the beautiful village of Luss nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, overlooking the Ben Lomond Munro. Apart from stunning views of Luch Lomond, Luss is a place steeped in history, and here you can find an extremely rare Viking Hogback gravestone. There's a couple of gift shops, toilet facilities and places for refreshments.

Inveraray Castle & GardensOnly a 30 minute drive away is the iconic Inveraray Castle, one of the few castles in Scotland still used as a residence, (Duke & Duchess of Argyle) this is the seat of the Clan Chief of Clan Campbell. Open Thursday to Monday, the castle grounds are freely open to the public (there is a charge if you wish to enter the castle) or there’s Inveraray town with plenty of options for lunch and views of Loch Fyne. The Castle closes for winter from November to March, but the grounds are still open to the public.

Kilchurn CastleA 30 minute drive takes us to Kilchurn castle, used by the English army as a formidable barracks for over 200 years and surrounded by water on 3 sides – a great place for photos.
