The Egyptian Museum in CairoExplore 3,000 years of Ancient Egyptian history at the Egyptian Museum. The collection totals over 120,000 artifacts covering all periods of Ancient Egypt. The highlights include the treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, including his gold mask and nested coffins. Other highlights are Khafre Enthroned (Chepren Enthroned), the treasures of Yuya and Thuyu from KV46, the treasure of Psusennes (The Silver Pharaoh), the colossus of Amenhotep the Great and Queen Tiye, and 12th dynasty jewelry discovered by Jacques de Morgan at the end of the 19th and early 20th century.
