The meeting point at the La Piedra UCE rock monument is accessible by taxi from most of the city's hotels or via the metro. The closest stop is Estacion Universidad Central Metro station, a 5-minute walk away. Uber is available in Quito and a safe and convenient way to reach the meeting point.
Return details
The tour concludes at the Independence Square in the heart of Quito's historic old town. The tour duration is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours depending on the pace of the group. Your guide can help you to find transport back to your accommodation if you wish.

Here's an honest appraisal for the tour, so no-one is disappointed: ✘ Unsuitable for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal diets and severe allergies as the number of tastings would be very limited. ✔ No pork diets, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, mild tree nut / peanut allergies and no seafood diets are possible though some tastings do not have alternatives available and the menu would be more limited.
