On this tour you will enjoy the Croatian highland area on the beautiful upper part of river Kupa. Located only an hour from the city of Rijeka, Kvarner Bay is situated 90 minutes from the Istra Peninsula or Zagreb, this trip will take you down 10 km (6 miles) of the upper part of the Kupa River, only 15 km (9 miles) from the source.
This section flows through a wild area; the steep forested mountains on both sides create a sort of jungle feeling. Paddling here is not hard, because you simply float down the calm rapids acompanied by our experienced guides. You don't need to have former paddling experience. Our two- or three-person kayaks or on higher water levels 6-8 person rafts are very stabile and easy to control.
After arriving at the finish, change into your dry clothes and we will transport you back to your vehicles/river base.
Organized lunch after the tour is possible upon request.
