Sultan QaboosThe Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah is by far not as big as its counterpart in Muscat, in which 20.000 believers find place - here there are only 3.200 people. Its interior does not look so overloaded, but rather radiates an airy lightness thanks to the bright, friendly colors. The brightly painted windows, which let in a lot of natural light, also contribute to this, creating an inviting atmosphere that invites you to pause and linger. The separate prayer room for the women - the Ladies Prayer Hall - is located on the north side of the mosque, which was inaugurated in 2009.
