Some of the local wildlife you can expect to see during your paddle may include bald eagles, bighorn sheep and blue heron. The blue water against the desert topography is like nowhere else in the world.
Our guides are local to the Phoenix area and have been paddling the local lakes and rivers for over 15 years. All guides are certified through the American Canoe Association (ACA) for instruction, guiding, and water-safety. Each guide is first aid and CPR certified.

Lake SaguaroWe will meet at Butcher Jones Recreation Site to go over the equipment and safety. From there, we will launch and paddle along the shoreline and cross the lake to Willow Springs Canyon for a snack or lunch. Returning back to Butcher Jones Recreation Site to finish up the tour.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
