It is a walking tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather.

Pre-booked tickets to Edinburgh Castle are valid for a specific date and time, so it's important to arrive at the meeting point on time. You will skip the line at the ticket office but not at security checks.

Please note that due to routist regulations, the guide will not accompany you in the castle museums and roofed buildings. The guided tour will take place in the outdoor courtyards only, and you are free to visit other areas your own.

For the best experience, we limit your group size to 1-25 guests per guide, so that everyone can get personal attention, ask questions and hear commentary clearly. We will arrange additional guides for larger groups, so the price will be higher.
