Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-BirkenauAuschwitz I is the oldest and the best preserved part of the Auschwitz complex. This is a site consisting of 28 red brick blocks where exhibitions have been set up based on different topics. At this site you will see the famous main gate of Auschwitz I with the “Arbeit Macht Frei” sign and you will walk through a real gas chamber which is the last one still around today.
